Temporary Collective is an independent platform that creates productions and projects of various genres and themes. Its poetics and direction follow the original work of director Petra Tejnorová and dancer Tereza Ondrová. Temporary Collective is a live platform with a wide range of other collaborators.

About us

Director Petra Tejnorová used to have the group Sgt.Tejnorová & The Commando, dancer and choreographer Tereza Ondrová used to have the dance group VerTeDance. Everything is temporary, and so these groups disappeared as well. The interest of both artists in cross-connecting different genres and disciplines culminated in the creation of the new creative platform Temporary Collective, whose core also includes manager Michal Somoš and producer Daniela Řeháková, who participated in the most recent independent projects of both artists. In addition to projects within the platform, all founding members are also successfully involved in other activities outside it. Currently, Temporary Collective consists of photographer Marek Bartoš, musician and visual artist Dominik Žižka, and Tereza Baschová, with collaboration from Adina Hanáková and Roman Poliak.

As part of the International Festival TANEC PRAHA, the premiere of a sound performance called SILENT took place successfully on 19 September. For the performance the audience needed the headphones. Each of the spectators also became a participant in the performance, receiving movement instructions, simple exercises for body and mind. One voice alternated with another. This created a series of voices, a series of sounds, a series of micro-movements and stops.

About two particular views of this experience you can read in the article by Kristína Soukupová from Taneční Aktuality and in the reflection by Natálie Paulusová published in Opera Plus.

The performance follows up on other activities of the international research project DANCING MUSEUMS, of which SILENT is a part. The organizer is Tanec Praha in cooperation with the Prague City Gallery and the National Theatre.

We are part of The Czech Dance Platform with our 2 years old piece called Duets. This festival present productions selected by the Dramaturgical Council in 2020 and 2021.

Call Alice

Two women, both dancers, both the same age, are said to have a remarkable physical resemblance. At first, they have no idea about each other, maybe they just heard that everyone has a double somewhere. Is it possible to find answers through another person? What makes us identify and connect with others and ourselves?

Insectum In Prague

During the pandemic and creative meetings conducted remotely, choreographers Tereza Ondrová and Silvia Gribaudi asked various questions: What would life look like if we saw it from an insect’s perspective? Can another living creature inspire us so much that we change our own lives? How can we alter the anthropocentric view of the world? Similar questions were already explored by Sara Michieletto and Elisabetta Zavoli, whose concept formed the basis of this Insectum in Prague project.

SILENT is an audio performance for a group of audience members in public space that consists of movement/workout instructions for body and thought over the course of 35 minutes. The audio is started by one voice and continued by the next to create a series of voices that together develop one landscape of thought and movement.

In be-tween – a video essay

The video essay entitled IN BE-TWEEN presents creative work, as well as the process of rehearsing a dance project of the same name.

Voices is a virtual voice-mail where you can leave and share questions, thoughts, frustrations, and emotions. Things that the body cannot hold any longer and needs to release and share, in order to finish them, get rid of them or develop them.
