After graduating from the Prague Dance Conservatory in 1990, she worked as a professional dancer with Pavel Šmok’s Prague Chamber Ballet, while also collaborating on numerous independent artistic projects at home and abroad. In 1995, she was awarded the Thalia Prize. In 1997, she became a soloist with the Ballet of the State Opera in Lyon, France, where she remained until 2010. She holds the French state diploma in dance pedagogy and studied cultural management in Lyon in 2009–2010. Since 2010, she has collaborated with Tanec Praha, originally as a member of the Artistic Council, later as artistic co-director of the TANEC PRAHA festival (2011-2024) and the entire organization (2012-2024). In 2015, she was awarded the insignia of Knight of the Order of Arts and Letters for her contribution to the development of French-Czech relations. From May 2021 to September 2023, she was also the artistic director of the PONEC Theater.
She has contributed to numerous European projects, including Aerowaves, EDN–European Dance Development Network, Dance Transit. Prague.Dresden.Leipzig, Dancing Museums, Shape It, Big Pulse Dance Alliance, Dancing Museums, Dance Well, and others. Since 2024, she has been actively involved in developing the activities of the association DanceConnected, where she serves as Vice-Chair. Furthermore, she works as an independent curator and collaborates with dance artists and organizations on the development of their international relations.
