Together with Mariana, we develop both international and local relationships and projects—building connections, partnerships, and networks, while imagining new possibilities. Mariana also takes care of specific projects as a project manager, and although she only joined us in April 2025, she immediately became a key partner in the core team—a partner for strategic thinking, curatorial questions, and broader integral perspectives in caring for the complex organism that is TC.
Mariana is a visual arts curator and cultural worker. She holds a master’s degree in Theory and History of Contemporary and Modern Art from the Academy of Arts, Architecture and Design in Prague (UMPRUM). After graduating, she undertook a postgraduate residency in Brussels, where she focused on connecting artist-run spaces as one of the co-organizers of the Brussels Artist-Run Network, a grassroots initiative. She was also part of the artist-led organization Level Five and worked as a coordinator for interdisciplinary projects in collaboration with international cultural institutions such as EUNIC, Bozar, iMAL, Monty, Hiros, and Kaaitheater. She currently lives in Prague, where, in addition to her collaboration with Temporary Collective, works as the production manager of TV Minor, the VOD platform of the Minor Theatre. Starting in September 2025, she will also join the team of the PAF Festival.
In her practice, Mariana is interested in artist-run spaces, exploring the boundaries of art through interdisciplinarity, and engaging in projects with social impact.
